“We weren’t very productive at the plate, so credit to their pitcher,” Sioux Central coach Kasey Krager said. “It was a well-played game defensively and we executed in the top of the seventh with some nice hits by Natalie Laursen and Kailee Laursen, and then bunts from Nora Christian and Bradi Krager. Ava McCarty also had an infield hit to help with the three runs in the inning. It was good to play in a tight game for the experience of it and the kids came through in the clutch.”
