$2 discount taxi coupons at city hall

The Storm Lake City Council recently approved increasing the City’s contribution toward taxi rides for those in need of transportation, for the fiscal year that began July 1. Coupons for $2 off taxi rides can be requested at Storm Lake City Hall, 620 Erie Street.

The coupons are good for all rides within the city limits with either Storm Lake Cab Co. or Storm Lake Transit RIDES. In the past, the City has assisted with $1 coupons, but the council noted rising costs for households in opting for the increase for 2024-25.
