The Alta Danish church in better days

Thank you to Lois McConkey of Alta for sharing this 1944 group picture of the congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church in front of Alta’s historic Danish Lutheran Church, which was torn down a few weeks ago. Lois is a young girl in the front row. The Missouri Synod group used the unoccupied Danish church while their own church was being built.
