Michael Erickson, 72, of Storm Lake, died Aug.14, 2026 at Accura Healthcare in Cherokee.
Visitation took place on Aug. 23, 2026 at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Graveside services will take place Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Storm Lake Cemetery in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Michael was born April 13, 1954 to Leonard and Darlene (Moritz) Erickson in Storm Lake. He was later united in marriage to Noreen Kay Irwin. The couple was blessed with one daughter, Dawn Kruger.
Michael worked as a laundry room attendant at Bil-Mar foods in Storm Lake. After work, he enjoyed watching wrestling and going for drives. More than anything, Michael treasured time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish Michael’s memory include his wife, Noreen Erickson; daughter: Dawn (Patrick) Kruger; grandchildren: Dameyon Kruger, Layton Kruger, Serenity Kruger, Alexis Kruger, and Adalyn Kruger; extended family and friends.
