Margaret Brummer

Margaret Arlene Brummer, 83, of Storm Lake died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, at her residence.

There will be no services at this time. Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Margaret was born Sept. 20, 1940, to Wayne and Lovicy (Clever) Davis in Storm Lake. She attended school in Truesdale, graduating in 1958.

On March 6, 1960, Margaret was united in marriage to Leonard Brummer at United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. To this union, two children were born: Dean and Teresa.

Margaret was a home interior displayer for 30 years before retiring in 2017. In her free time, she loved flower gardening, traveling the United States and Canada, and decorating the house for the holidays. She treasured time with her family, especially entertaining her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her home. Margaret will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Margaret’s memory include her husband Leonard Brummer of Storm Lake; children: Dean (Sue) Brummer of Storm Lake; Teresa (John) Ingwersen of Sioux Rapids; sister Vivian Sliefert of Alta; brother-in-law Merlyn Stern of Humboldt; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Jean Davis of Spencer; Ruth Davis of Storm Lake; Bernice Stern of Humboldt; grandchildren: Jesse (Daphne) Ingwersen of Linn Grove; Bill (Katie) Ingwersen of Laurens; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Amelia and Johnny Ingwersen; family and friends from all over the United States.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Lovicy Davis; brothers, Merlin Davis and Eldon Davis; sister Phyllis Lenhart; brother-in-law Harold Sliefert; and parents-in-law, Arvin and Hilda Brummer.
