Tickets for this delicious German dinner are $25 per meal and must be reserved in advance by calling the Hanover Feast Reservation Line at 712-434-5888. Meals will be available for pick-up between 6-7 p.m. at Aurelia Community Center, 235 Main St., Aurelia.

This traditional, home-made German Feast meal includes Sauerbraten (tender, roast beef), mashed potatoes with ginger snap gravy, brats with Bavarian sauerkraut, German potato salad (served warm), home-grown sweet corn, homemade apple sauce, creamy cucumber salad, fresh home-grown tomatoes, home-canned beet pickles and apple cake with butter sauce. It is a favorite in Northwest Iowa and a popular supper among farmers working in the fields during harvest.

This event supports Hanover Village and the annual festival, providing fun, educational and volunteer opportunities for local families, youth and other groups. Many local farmers and gardeners donate homegrown fresh produce used in the German meal preparation.
