Voting in Storm Lake and surrounding communities begins tomorrow, Nov. 4 at 7 a.m. as residents decide on new city council and school board members along with mayors and bond measures.
Residents can vote at their polling place as assigned by the Buena Vista auditors office until polls close at 8 p.m. Below are the polling locations for Storm Lake residents:
Storm Lake, precinct one - BV County Engineer Building (526 Radio Rd.)
Storm Lake, precinct two - Storm Lake Library (609 Cayuga St.)
Storm Lake, precinct three - St. Mark Lutheran Church (1614 W. 5th St.)
Storm Lake, precinct four - Auditor’s Office-East Entrance (317 E. 5th St.)
Polling locations for all other Buena Vista county residents:
Cities of Linn Grove, Rembrandt and Sioux Rapids; Brooke, Barnes, Lee and Lincoln Townships - Sioux Rapids City Hall (100 Front St., Sioux Rapids)
Cities of Albert City, Newell and Marathon; Coon Fairfield, Newell and Poland Townships - Albert City-City Hall (119 Main St., Albert City)
City of Alta, Elk, Maple Valley, Nokomis and Scott Townships - Community Center (27 Lake St., Alta)
Cities of Lakeside and Truesdale, Grant, Hayes, Providence and Washington Townships - Lakeside City Hall (203 Lakeshore Dr., Lakeside)
