Synergy Gallery A.R.T. on display through October

Posted

Artwork by Cherie Courter, Ron Netten, Jerry Kahl and Kimble Bromley will remain on display at Synergy Live Edge Gallery (824 Vestal St.) in Storm Lake through Nov. 1. This exhibit was put together for the Artisans Road Trip last weekend and features a wide variety of media. Gallery hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. or by appointment by calling 712-229-3936. Above is Kimble Bromley of Lake View with some of his large scale paintings at the gallery. For the past 15 years, he has been painting his pond in rural Minnesota. “I lived on 20 acres made up of 12 acres of woods and an 8-acre pond,” he says. In 2019 the retired art professor had the opportunity to travel to France to study Monet’s paintings and to visit his gardens in Giverny. “This was an inspirational experience! After letting this adventure simmer for two years, the scenes I encountered there are now coming to life in my paintings.” Don’t miss this display if you haven’t seen it yet.
