Dale Phillips

Dale Phillips, 63, of Storm Lake died Feb. 11, 2025, at his residence.

Memorial services will take place Saturday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. A time of gathering will be held Friday, Feb. 28, from 5-7 p.m. atFratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake.

Dale was born July 12, 1962, to William and Doloris (Darrow) Phillips. He attended school in Storm Lake, graduating in 1981. Dale was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, where he remained a lifelong member.

Dale was blessed with four children: Krystal, Brandyn, Nick and Lucas.
Dale worked as a trucker. He was a true outdoorsman, enjoying camping and fishing. Roller skating brought him joy. More than anything, Dale treasured time spent with his grandchildren and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish the memory of Dale include his children: Krystal (Jason) Page; Brandyn (Amanda) Phillips; Nick (Sandra) Phillips; Lucas (Myst) Phillips; brothers: Steve Phillips of North Carolina; Rick (Donna) Phillips of Storm Lake; Jim (Renee) Phillips of Sioux City; Dean (Barb) Phillips of Alta; sister Deb Erickson of Maple Grove, Minn.; grandchildren: Annabelle, Nadelyn, Kayden, Aaliyah, Jessica, Bertha, Anna, Carter, Phoebe, Madison and Andrew Phillips; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Doloris Phillips; former wife Annette Jordan; sister-in-law Peg Phillips; and nephew Nathan Phillips.
