The time is now to plan your Oktoberfest night out! The 4th Annual Storm Lake Oktoberfest is just around the corner, and for the first time ever, it will be held at the newly restored Cobblestone Ballroom and Events Center on Saturday, Oct. 18.
This year’s celebration will be bigger than ever, with two live bands — The Marksmen Country Band (sponsored by Iowa Trailer Manufacturing Co. and Prairie Fabrication) and Malek’s Fishermen Polka Band (sponsored by Brew and Brew Oil) — taking the stage from 4-10 p.m. Toast with classic German beers, including Big Grove Oktoberfest on tap and Sam Adam’s Oktoberfest in cans, available for one night only, and enjoy nonstop music and dancing inside this legendary venue.
And that’s just the beginning:
This isn’t just a party — it’s a chance to step back into one of Iowa’s most storied venues, closed since 1986 and now lovingly brought back to life. Oktoberfest is an excellent opportunity to celebrate inside this iconic space.
The event is completely free thanks to generous sponsors including Brew, Brew Oil, Iowa Trailer Manufacturing, Prairie Fabrication, Cobblestone Ballroom and Event Center, Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Homes, Compass Real Estate, Storm Lake United, Storm Lake Bakery, Fareway, Stickers & Posters, Hy-Vee, Champion Seed, A&A Automotive and Tire, Bob’s Country Body Shop, Kaleidoscope Marketing, C&B Operations and North Lake Truck Repair.
Don’t wait — mark your calendars, rally your friends and get your lederhosen ready. On Oct. 18 the Cobblestone will come alive again, and you won’t want to miss it.
