In support of new SL Early Childhood Facility

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

We understand that the East Early Childhood Center was designed in the 1960s as an elementary school and not designed to serve four-year-olds. The Storm Lake School District has done a great job of adapting that building, but the time has come to provide a better learning environment for the pre-school programs at East. And the approach to build a building that will provide a better environment during this critical pre-school year and relieve the crowding at both the middle school and elementary is a very cost effective approach.
