Warriors rack up 49 points in first half

Alta-Aurelia scored 22 points in the first quarter and tacked on 27 more points in the second to build a 40-point halftime lead as the Warriors went on to beat Storm Lake St. Mary’s 71-17 on Tuesday night at Alta.

Alta-Aurelia jumped out to a 22-6 lead after the first quarter. It was 49-9 at halftime and 66-12 after three periods.
