It’s pumpkin time

Maple Valley Agriculturalists, from left: Ashley Hinkeldey, Hannah

Colerick and Clare Gunkelman, helped us gather this wagonload.

It all cost only $7.50. The biggest pumpkins are only $3 each.

Little gourds are $.10.

Pumpkin Hollow is open for business. The pumpkin patch north of Alta has been operated as a fundraiser by the Maple Valley Agriculturalists 4-H Club since 1993. Youngsters from many area schools visited the patch Friday.

Pumpkins and gourds are for sale Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. The location is 436 560th St. From Alta, take M31 two miles north to 50th St. Take a left and in a half mile, you’ll see the farm, which is owned by Roxanne and Terry Peterson, on your left.
