Tim Schroeder of Early stood alongside his motorcycle holding a flag from sunrise to sunset Monday, Sept. 11 at the corner of Hwy. 3 and 71. Schroeder is a veteran and was stationed in Japan. He attracted honks, waves and bottles of water from passersby. Schroeder is a member of the Storm Lake American Legion post and Legion Riders.
