Sue Kathleen Foster, 64, of Schaller and formerly of Storm Lake, died March 11, 2017 at her home in Schaller.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, March 15, at Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. There was no burial.
Susan Kathleen was born Oct. 5, 1952 in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Rosemary (Porter) Marksbury.
Growing up, Sue was baptized into the Catholic faith in Fort Dodge.
She attended grade school in Fort Dodge and after moving to Storm Lake, she attended Storm Lake High School.
On Nov. 22, 1976, Sue was united in marriage to Terry Lee Foster in Storm Lake. Together, they were blessed with three children: Joshua, Alicia and Cody.
Sue worked as a waitress at Lakeshore Café in Storm Lake for many years where she loved visiting with customers.
In her spare time, she enjoyed interior decorating. Sue treasured being outdoors and especially loved gardening. She had a passion for horseback riding and truly loved horses. Sue will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Joshua Foster of Sac City; Alicia (Brian) Dahm of Cedar Rapids; Cody Foster of Sioux City; soulmate, Ron Wright of Schaller; Ron’s sons: Trevor Wright of Schaller; Cody (Emily) Wright of Holstein; brother, Richard (Julie) Case of Cherokee; sister-in-law, Lucy Case of Rock Springs, Wyo.; nieces; nephews; extended family and many friends.
Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Marksbury; husband, Terry Foster; and brother, Dennis Case.
